Q: Where did you attend college, and what degree did you receive?

A: Auburn University - College of Business - International Business with a Concentration in Logistics and Spanish

Q: Did you go to your dream college?

A: Yes

Q: Do you think your college education was necessary for your success in business?

A: Yes - Mainly due to team work, problem solving, working with different personalities, learning to manage my time, etc.

Q: Who or what led you to your current career path?

A: Looking back, God had such a remarkable plan for me. My two job offers before even graduating from Auburn were with Southeastern Freight (Logistics company) and with Pulte Homes (New home sales). Taking the job as a new home sales counselor for Pulte/Del Webb is what launched my career with real estate and love for real estate.

Q: Was your current career your first choice, or did you switch?

A: My career over the years has changed. I started out in New Home Sales, then went to General Real Estate with Keller Williams, and then I had a total career change and was a media planner and buyer for a boutique advertising agency for 7 years (I wanted a sales position but M-F 9-5 when I started a family), then I was a SAHM but had a side hustle with Rodan + Fields, and have been back in general real estate with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty for 3ish years. I absolutely LOVE real estate and it would be my first pick over and over as I am so driven over it and passionate about it. God had me doing different things though at different times in my life/career and looking back, all of it was pivotal to where I am today. He aways knows what is best!

Q: Was mentorship significant to your business journey?

A: Absolutely, you have to have people that help you along the way. It's critical to pull from someone who has traveled the road before you to guide you.

Q: How do you approach networking and the building of professional relationships?

A: Just love on everyone you meet - networking is critical in anything that you do. The #1 thing is just caring BIG for people and letting them know that you are in their corner.

Q: What is the ratio of males to females in your business?

A: I'd say about 50/50 actually!

Q: Have you observed or been affected by a wage gap between men and women in your field?

A: I've always been 100% commission based in every job I've had since Auburn and love that the harder I work the more I am rewarded. Every day is what you make it! So no, I've never been impacted by a wage gap.

Q: How have you asserted yourself as a powerful woman in your field?

A: I'd say that I've asserted myself as being a respected woman in the real estate industry by building a strong network/sphere, consistently delivering exceptional results (always going above and beyond), and leading with honesty and integrity. I love what I do and my friends, family and clients can certainly feel that. And the same is said for our team, The Jenny Doyle Group. I've surrounded myself with the most dynamic ladies on this team and their friendships and partnerships mean the world to me.

Q: What has been your biggest tool in gaining credibility in the business world?

A: Social Media and Experience

Q: How does social media, if at all, impact your business?

A: It's an integral part of the real estate business. When I started with The Jenny Doyle Group, Jenny didn't have an instagram page, so I helped her start that and now our team has over 2200 followers and still growing. Consistency is key and being yourself, plus balancing work and family life.

Q: What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

A: Don't ever get emotional about business. It's just that, business.

Q: Lastly, what would be the number one piece of advice you would give to your high school self?

A: Don't ever put limits on yourself and what you are capable of. Trust God's plan for your life and enjoy the different seasons of a career and figuring out how God wants your talents to best be used. He will use different experiences in your life and career for His good. He always wants you to shine!!
