Jenny Doyle

Q: Where did you attend college?

A: University of Georgia.

Q: What degree did you receive?

A: Elementary Education.

Q: Did you attend your dream college?

A: Yes! I love Athens.

Q: Do you think your college education was necessary for your success in business?

A: Not at all but it's given me peace of mind knowing that I am doing what I should and later will help with other things with kids.

Q: Who or what led you to your current career path?

A: I dated a builder [and] I would help tweak his home plans [which] therefore led into real estate

Q: Was your current career your first choice, or did you switch?

A: No, I have been doing this 22 years but prior had a hot dog stand, a bar, and taught fourth grade and children on the autism spectrum.

Q: Was mentorship significant to your business journey?

A: It is now. I mentor all kinds of people in business growth and am on a friends board to help her grow. I mentor my team every day and have other realtors that come to me as a mentor. Even my parallel competition, I meet and help them grow. There is enough for everyone!

Q: How do you approach networking and the building of professional relationships?

A: Big answer. I have a 30004 Forum that I do every year at city hall. I have other agent groups that I attend that we help each other. I have a barn in downtown Milton that everyone uses for free to do good in the world and we throw a lot of parties which are networking. Some days I do two lunches!

Q: What is the ratio of males to females in your business?

A: Very high as a guess at 1/10 where we are female prevalent.

Q: Have you observed or been affected by a wage gap between men and women in your field?

A: Not at all.

Q: How have you asserted yourself as a powerful woman in your field?

A: I love seeing anyone do good. I think everyone is equal and we are all children of God. I want everyone happy and successful as the best version of themselves that they can be. I lean into all kinds of people and do help a friend with women empowerment groups, talking on her panels and sponsor financially those to join her that could not otherwise. This supports both her and people that I do not know to grow and love on one another.

Q: What has been your biggest tool in gaining credibility in the business world?

A: My heart. Everyone knows how much I care. Nobody cares what you know until they know that you care. This is cross-industry and life in general. Love is always the answer.

Q: How does social media, if at all, impact your business?

A: We are on insta and facebook. They are great with it. We have a girl we pay monthly to do it and I am not allowed to touch it as anytime I do everyone makes fun of me. The girl or them get like 100 likes and I get 2 for some modern bathroom that messed up the algorithm. I have learned to keep to my personal page. Ha!

Q: What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

A: Those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter. It's by Dr Suess. I also love 'keep your frequency high'. I think energy attracts like energy. Always do what's right, be positive and put others first. God works out the rest and aligns you with those you need to level up and help others.

Q: Lastly, what would be the number one piece of advice you would give to your high school self?

A: High School: surround yourself with the right peers as that's so important. College and just after: This is the time to work hard and take risks. You are your only responsibility. After that you have a family and are less likely to take risks on average.
