A: I didn’t have one

Q: Do you think your college education was necessary for your success in business?

A: It depends. I use what I learned in college but I also know people who haven’t gone who are successful.

Q: Who or what led you to your current career path?

A: I didn’t like working for other people so I said “let’s try this” and it’s been 3 years now and I’ve never been happier.

Q: Was your current career your first choice, or did you switch?

A: My first choice was marketing and I own a marketing company

Q: Was mentorship significant to your business journey?

A: YES

Q: How do you approach networking and the building of professional relationships?

A: Honestly and consistently. Approach for relationships, not transactions

A: Mostly women

A: Sorta

A: Know your stuff and don’t take less than you deserve

A: Take leadership positions where you can

A: It is my business

Q: What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

A: My business is a tool to get me where I want to go. It isn’t who I am. You cannot pour from an empty cup so take care of yourself.

Q: Lastly, what would be the number one piece of advice you would give to your high school self?

A: You are the sum of the people who surround you. Pick better friends.
